In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, NBA legend Dwyane Wade revealed why he scored Aaron Gordon nine points instead of ten in the Slam Dunk contest

In February, Aaron Gordon lost his second NBA Slam Dunk contest against Derrick Jones Jr. even though judges revealed that contest was supposed to be a tie. re were many reports regarding who scored Gordon one less point. In a recent interview, Dwyane Wade revealed why he scored Gordon nine points instead of 10.

Dwyane Wade on why he scored Aaron Gordon nine points

During Wade's AMA session with Bleacher Report, NBA veteran was asked about Gordon and Slam Dunk contest. According to Wade, Gordon deserved that nine, which he does t think is a bad thing. Wade gave Gordon a nine because he did t clear Tacko Fall, but added that he would take a nine any day.

Common reveals that NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest should have been a tie

In 2016, Gordon had lost same to Zach LaVine. However, after 2020 contest, fans and NBA players like LeBron James and Joel Embiid believed that contest should have been a tie and Aaron Gordon was "robbed" once again. Recently, it was suggested that Dwyane Wade could have been  one who broke judges' decision to make contest a tie.
