NBA players Duncan Robinson and JJ Redick revealed that Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler apparently does not like it when a "white" player guards him on the court.

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler reportedly does t like it when a "white player" guards him. New Orleans Pelicans JJ Redick and Miami Heat's Duncan Robinson gave ir opinion on issue during JJ Redick's podcast. During podcast, Redick recalled time when Jimmy Butler felt disrespected when he guarded him.

Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler felt disrespected when JJ Redick guarded him

In recent episode of JJ Redick Podcast, he and Jimmy Butler's Miami Heat teammate Duncan Robinson talked about how "white" players are treated in NBA by ir colleagues. Redick and Robinson n both recalled ir incidents with Jimmy Butler. While playing when he was at Minnesota Timberwolves, Jimmy Butler h been offended and disrespected that Redick was guarding him, said Robinson. Jimmy Butler scored 38 points during that game.

Robinson furr revealed that Jimmy Butler frequently reminded him that he can't guard him, especially when y matched up. However, Duncan Robinson furr ded that playing with Butler has also me him a better player. Butler and Redick played toger for Philelphia 76ers, while Duncan Robinson started playing for Miami Heat this season.

According to ESPN's Jimmy Butler stats, Butler was averaging 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists before current NBA season was suspended due to coronavirus outbreak. Butler was shooting 45.4% from field, 24.8% from three-point range and 83.3% from free-throw line. This season, Butler has led Heat to a 41-25 win-loss record, ranking m fourth on Eastern Conference standings. However, as NBA is considering cutting short NBA playoffs in an effort to salv suspended 2019-20 season, Heat might t be able to play Finals. NBA is currently trying to return in June, though official statement has been me.
