Jonathan Isaac’s jersey sales skyrocket after NBA star refused to kneel or wear BLM shirt

The Jonathan Isaac jersey sales saw a massive spike on the NBA store after the Orlando Magic star refused to kneel during the national anthem.

Orlando Magic star Jonathan Isaac made headlines over weekend when he became first NBA star to t only stand during  national anm but also refuse to wear Black Lives Matter shirt at NBA bubble. Following win for Orlando Magic vs Brooklyn Nets, Jonathan Isaac jersey sales skyrocketed as 22-year-old seemingly became an overnight fan-favourite among a certain section of population. However, Sunday's game against Sacramento Kings saw Johnathan Isaac, unfortunately, exit game in a wheelchair after sustaining an injury on his left knee.

Jonathan Isaac jersey sales skyrocket over weekend

Just a couple of days after Magic’s game on Friday, sales of Jonathan Isaac jersey recorded a significant rise on NBA store. As of Sunday, Orlando Magic power forward has second best-selling jersey on NBA website, only behind Lakers superstar LeBron James. It is believed that Jonathan Isaac's jersey sales boost was due to NBA star's refusal to kneel during national anm as well as for opting against wearing BLM shirt. 

Following win against Nets, Jonathan Isaac cited his religious beliefs as main reason why he chose t to kneel or wear a BLM shirt. Isaac revealed that although he believes that black lives do matter, kneeling during national anm and wearing BLM shirts wasn't answer to solve racism and hatred in world. Issac was only member from Orlando Magic squad that stood during national anm.

Jonathan Isaac ACL injury: Jonathan Isaac return

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Isaac tore  ACL in his left knee during game against Sacramento Kings on Sunday. In a heart-wrenching sight, Issac was seen with his hands on his head, exiting game in a wheelchair. Isaac finished game with four points and three rebounds as Orlando Magic beat Kings 132-116.
