Young Kerala basketball player Pranav Prince dreams of being part of NBA league one day and feels that stint at ( NBA) Global Acemy in Australia would come in handy.
"My visit to Australia was fantastic, it was an unforgettable experience. I got a chance to play with best players from all over world. I learned many new skills and got to kw on what aspect of my game I should improve on," 16-year old from Alappuzha said of his stint at NBA acemy in Australia earlier this month. My biggest goal is to play in NBA, but after finishing my time at NBA Acemy, I am looking to win a scholarship at a US university. If I perform well in USA college basketball tournaments, n I will have a good chance to play in NBA," he ded.

Pranav Prince, a Point Guard, who has represented Kerala in various national-level tournaments in different -groups, said coaches in Australia laid emphasis on fundamentals of game.

"In Australia, coaches focus on all fundamentals of game. In India, one who scores baskets becomes main player of team. But it shouldn't be like that. Basketball is a team sport and all five players in team should score baskets, t just one player in team. I thought this was biggest difference between practicing in India and Australia," he ded.
young basketballer said he was always encourd by his far, a taxi driver, to aim for next level in game. Pranav was selected in NBA Acemy (Greater ida) from among 50 boys who attended all-India trials in May 2018.
