Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving trolled on Twitter as Nets lose to New York rivals Knicks

The Brooklyn Nets hosted the New York Knicks at the Barclays Center this week. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could only watch as the Nets succumbed to a loss.

re was a massacre of sorts at Barclays Center on Thursday night. New York Knicks entered game against Brooklyn Nets on back of a three-game losing streak. Before a sellout crowd of over 17,000 people, however, Knicks arrested ir losing slide and registered a 94-82 win over Brooklyn Nets on night. With Nets failing to put on any kind of show against visiting New York Knicks, all Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving could do at Barclays Center was sulk on bench as Knicks decimated Nets.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving pictured sulking during Nets' loss

During Free ncy last summer, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were t short of options to switch teams in NBA. While it was widely believed that both, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving would sign up with Knicks in summer, duo decided to move to New York's or team, Brooklyn Nets. With Nets suffering a blowout loss against Knicks, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving appeared pensive on bench. Naturally, Twitter captured duo sulking during Knicks' decimation of Nets.

While Nets may have emerged as one of biggest winners of Free ncy in summer, y were also privy to fact that Kevin Durant would t feature for m this year. Durant suffered an Achilles injury during 2019 NBA Finals with Warriors. However, Kevin Durant's absence was compounded by injury Kyrie Irving sustained this season. Kyrie Irving has w missed 18 straight games for Nets this season, owing to his shoulder injury. However, Caris LeVert is nearing a return for Nets.
