Kobe Bryant, Gianna 'assumed' risk of crash while onboard, claims helicopter company

In a recent statement, The Island Express company that owned the helicopter which crashed in January responded to Vanessa Bryant's wrongful death lawsuit.

Kobe Bryant was aware of crash risk, says helicopter company  Island Express 

In a recent statement, Island Express company that owned helicopter which crashed, responded to Vanessa Bryant's lawsuit. As per company, passengers on board 'voluntarily assumed risk of accident' before crash. news was reported by TMZ, who quoted company's statement. company barred and reduced Vanessa's claims for dams as both Bryant and Gianna were aware of 'particular dangers' and its magnitude.

lawsuit filed by Vanessa against Island Express Helicopters and Island Express Holding Corp. sought general, ecomic and punitive dams. According to lawsuit, company’s breach of ‘duty and negligence’ was cause of ir deaths. It added that Ara Zobayan’s ‘negligent conduct’ cause Bryant and Gianna’s death, for which helicopter company is ‘vicariously liable’.

company clarified that blame of crash should t fall on Zobayan entirely. As previously reported, Ara Zobayan was trying to climb up while he was around 100 feet above ground. Kobe Bryant pilot bror responds to Vanessa Bryant's lawsuit

Zobayan's bror, Berge, also issued an answer to Vanessa's statement. Like company, he too stated that Bryant and Gianna were both aware of risks, which is why Ara Zobayan cant be only one blamed for trdy. He filed answer in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday (Saturday IST).
