Kyrie Irving abused, booed by Boston Celtics fans during Celtics vs Nets game

Kyrie Irving missed the game against his former team Boston Celtics last night, but the Celtics fans made their presence known with 'Kyrie sucks' chants.

Boston Celtics saw Kyrie Irving depart for Brooklyn Nets in off-season. If re were any doubts about Celtics fans' feelings towards Kyrie Irving and his departure,  fans clarified those doubts during Celtics vs Nets game at TD Garden on Wednesday night (Thursday morning IST).

Chants of 'Kyrie sucks' reverberated around TD Garden during Celtics vs Nets game as Celtics registered a 121-110 victory on night. chants against Kyrie Irving will come as surprise to NBA fans. Boston Celtics fans are, after all, kwn to be torious for ir vociferous support during NBA games.

This was Brooklyn Nets first visit to TD Garden since Kyrie Irving's move to Brooklyn Nets. A right shoulder impingement meant that Kyrie Irving did t feature for Nets for seventh consecutive game. former Celtics' star point guard also did t make trip to Boston for NBA game. Kyrie Irving did, however, have a few words regarding 'Kyrie sucks' chants.

Celtics vs Nets: Kyrie Irving's response to 'Kyrie sucks' chants

Celtics, however, had last laugh as y secured a victory against Nets to register a 13-4 record in Eastern Conference. ir strong start to season is only bettered in Eastern Conference by Bucks, who have a 15-3 record courtesy of Giannis Antetokounmpo's exploits and Toronto Raptors, who are tied with Celtics with a 13-4 record.
