LeBron James facepalms at confirmed December 22 NBA start date, shortest off-season ever

After much debate, NBA and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) decided on a December 22 start date. Affected by COVID-19 pandemic, league needs to start 2020-21 season as soon as y can. While season will start in December, 2019-20 season concluded last month. While teams like Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will have played in October, Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors have been on a hiatus since March.

LeBron James facepalmed at thought of an NBA December start?

In a recent Instagram story LeBron James shared, he attached a photo of a table stating NBA will be having shortest offseason with 71 days. Along with photo, James also added a facepalming emoji. As per reports and teammate Danny Green, four-time NBA champion was t in favour of December start. Green even stated that James might miss first month.

Danny Green, who was on Ringer NBA Show, spoke about James and NBA 2020-21 season. James, 35, will want to win ar title with Lakers. As y have recently won 2020 NBA title, James and some or stars might t want to return to court so soon. "I wouldn't expect to see him re for first month of season".

As per  Spun, an anymous NBA star also accused Lakers star of being selfish in this situation. "We already kw due to a lot of reasons cap is gonna drop and drop big," anymous star said, adding that people behave as if everyone has a max deal. 

He added that "one-percenters" need to start thinking about people at bottom of table w. player clarified that he (or anyone) is t disrespecting James' game. “ problem is he is his biggest fan and he needs to start thinking about or people and t just himself and his im.”
