Los Angeles Lakers' forward LeBron James and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady exchanged hilarious tweets with each other on Friday. Both tweeted about retirement, engaging in light banter. In a recent interview with a sports channel, LeBron James had stated that he feels he and Brady are one and the same. The four-time Super Bowl MVP retweeted a photo of James and the quote, which started their banter. Brady added a caption and retweeted the photo, saying that he will play till he is not able to dunk anymore. James replied with a comment of his own, saying that he will play till he is unable to throw TD passes anymore.
Both James and Brady are veterans of their own sport and have garnered respect for themselves over the years. For NFL season 20, Tom Brady has thrown for 2536 yard, 14 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. On the other hand, James is averaging at 24.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and league-high 11.1 assists per game in NBA 2019-20. He is leading the Lakers to their best record in the Western Conference in NBA history. The Patriots will play the Philadelphia Eagles next on Monday, November 18 (2:55 AM IST). The Lakers will be facing the Atlanta Hawks on the same day at 8:00 AM IST at the Staples Center.
