Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has backed his 11-year-old son, who has also invested in other companies such as GameStop following the recent Reddit storm.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's son Jake is in on Robinhood craze that has rocked Wall Street this week. 11-year-old was flying high on Wednesday when he opened his Robinhood account and picked up a couple of shares of AMC and BlackBerry. Cuban h previously encourd 'Reddit stock movement' as a win for his son, who found out about stock driving via TikTok.

Mark Cuban son: Mavericks owner's son invested in Blackberry, AMC stock  

In an interview with CNBC, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban revealed that his son also joined in on Reddit Stock bandwagon. business mogul and Shark Tank figure h taken to Twitter to anunce that his 11-year-old was getting an edge and me some decent money. Reddit forum WallStreetBets worked toger to invest in shares of GameStop, AMC Entertainment and BlackBerry and Mark Cuban's son Jake me tres in AMC and BlackBerry.

Cuban h previously encourd movement on Twitter suggesting that it was a win for 'little guy'. Mavericks owner was pleased stock price was being driven by common people, rar than hegemonic power brokers. 62-year-old said, "re are many hedge funds that have me a lot of money over years targeting heavily shorted stocks. I don’t think this is anything different. It’s just people who are making push aren’t who we expect m to be and so that’s why I like it".

Mark Cuban is a serial entrepreneur and has both owned stocks and shorted m over years. However, 62-year-old said he wouldn’t buy any of stocks that are part of current frenzy as it is “t his thing” and vises newbies to do ir homework. Mavericks owner told Bloomberg, "At end of day, get long and get loud has been narrative to move stocks for generations. w that tool is available to small trers and can be empowering for m". Cuban said regulators should be monitoring for wher rally in certain stocks is a pump-and-dump scheme.

Mark Cuban is intrigued by recent developments in stock market and will hope that his franchise can kick on in NBA season. Mavericks are on a three-game losing streak, after ir close win over San Antonio Spurs last week. Dallas are currently 12th in Western Conference Standings with an 8-10 record.
