The Portland Trail Blazers decided to sign Carmelo Anthony to a non-guaranteed deal, according to NBA reports. Anthony was traded by the Houston Rockets in the previous season after 10 games and has since been out of the league. According to NBA reports, the Trail Blazers were always interested in Anthony but he did not seem too keen on signing a deal with the team. Blazers are currently looking to fill the vacancies which were left by Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkic. Anthony will be a good fit for the team and prove to be a solid replacement.

As per NBA sources, Anthony has been looking for a team he could join ever since he was traded after only 10 games. Some time ago, the player told a sports channel that he will definitely play in 2020. The forward is a 10-time NBA All-Star and has a career average of 24 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists. The same sources state that Anthony will be joining the Trail Blazers for their road trip and will face the Rockets on Monday night. The deal will reportedly pay Anthony $14,490 for every day he is on the roster. If Anthony is still on the roster by January 7, 2020, the deal will be fully guaranteed. NBA players and fans expressed their happiness over the matter on Twitter, glad that Anthony was signed. Ever since he was traded, people were eager to see who signs Anthony.
