NBA: Will Andre Iguodala be used by the West to stop LeBron James? NBA executives think so

According to NBA reports, NBA executives think that veteran Andre Iguodala should defend against LeBron James and hence be kept away from the LA Lakers.

NBA executives reportedly think that Western Conference should use Andre Iguodala to stop LeBron James, and hence keep him away from Lakers. Iguodala is final few NBA veterans available for trade. However, if Memphis Grizzlies do t come to an agreement in next three months, Iguodala will be available for grabs in Western Conference.

Iggy to stop King James?

Iguodala will work as a playoff stopper against Lakers forward due to his experience in guarding James. Golden State Warriors traded Iguodala with Grizzlies in offseason. He is yet to play for Grizzlies. team has decided to look for a trade for Iguodala or buy his contract before deadline in February and are reportedly looking for a first-round draft pick.

While speaking to a sports website, NBA executive stated that Iguodala is more valuable in Western Conference even though a deal in East might be easier. He added that it is important to keep him off Lakers, as ir bench needs to be ir weak spot. As he has experience against James, teams will definitely look to utilize it. executive also thinks Iguodala does t have good matchups in Eastern Conference. In past five playoff series in NBA, Iguodala has defended James most. former NBA finals MVP averd at 5.7 points per game in NBA 2018-19 with Warriors.
