An NBA media bus was blocked by Black Lives Matter protestors at the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida, demanding justice for Salaythis Melvin.

While NBA continues with ir postseason at bubble in Orlando, Florida, Black Lives Matter protesters gared at venue to demand justice for Salaythis Melvin. On Saturday night (Sunday morning IST), some BLM protesters blocked an NBA media bus. small group was present to make league take tice of Salaythis Melvin's shooting in August.

Black Lives Matter protesters gar at NBA bubble and block NBA media bus seeking justice for Salaythis Melvin
As per reports, small number of protesters blocked at least two NBA media buses and seemingly wanted to meet NBA stars like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and ors to speak on Salaythis Melvin's shooting. NBA media buses blocked had media and NBA staff, but players were present. "LeBron can you help us?" were among chants, while some signs read "Russell Stand With Us". protesters chanted about Melvin, saying that y were at bubble because "Orange County Sheriff shot and killed an incent black man at Florida Mall". All entrances and gates to NBA bubble are currently secured by law enforcement and private security officials.

NBA media bus was blocked near bubble's entrance at Walt Disney World and protesters did t enter protected environment. league has been extremely vocal about ir support for Black Lives Matter movement and even refused to play games, which had to be postponed. Players spoke up after Breonna Taylor and George Floyd's deaths and have been supporting cause from inside NBA campus. y painted BLM across courts, printed slogans on ir jerseys and even wore BLM clos and accessories before games.

Salaythis Melvin shooting in Orange County
protesters wanted to draw attention to 22-year-old Salaythis Melvin, who was shot in back and killed. His murder took place at Florida Mall in Orange County, Florida by Deputy James Montiel. According to reports, Montiel was in plainclos at mall to arrest ar man. mall is about 15 miles away from NBA campus and shooting is still investigated by Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).
