Raptors home venue? Mahomes wants Toronto in KC
According to reports in US, Louisville, Kentucky, is one location Raptors are considering to play ir home games ahead of upcoming season. KFC Yum! Center in Louisville will likely be used as an alternative home arena should Raptors be forced to play season away from Toronto. However, if it was up to Patrick Mahomes, quarterback would bring Raptors to KC. On Monday, 25-year-old responded to a Bleacher Report tweet, making his intentions clear about bringing basketball back to city.
While Kansas City has its own MLB and NFL team, city hasn’t had an NBA franchise since Kings relocated to Sacramento after 1984-85 season. Fans of Raptors surely won't like idea of ir team playing ir games away from Scotiabank Arena. However, if current travel restrictions remain in place by time new season starts, an arrangement will likely be made for Raptors.
