While 'Bad Boy' Detroit Pistons won two NBA championships in 90s (1989, 1990), y also prevented Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls from reaching NBA Finals from 1987 to 1990. Pistons vs Bulls rivalry stretched on for years, with Jordan putting an end to Pistons hegemony in 1991 by advancing to NBA Finals and winning ir first title. While it has been years since Jordan and or players' retirement, Pistons fans continue to be bitter about Bulls' 1991 Eastern Conference Finals victory.
On Tuesday, Nike anunced that all NBA teams will feature Michael Jordan logo for NBA statement edition jerseys. While most fans were excited about Jordan Brand Jumpman logo being on jerseys, Detroit Pistons fans went right or way owing to fact that Michael Jordan's silhouette will be featured on ir jerseys. Fans of infamous Bad Boy Pistons reacted on social media, stating that Jumpman logo on jerseys will be a disgrace to Bad Boys.

fans seemed to refer to Jordan's words on Detroit Pistons and his hatred for team in his documentary Last Dance. While speaking on Pistons, Jordan had admitted that he still hated team as y had made rivalry personal by becoming physical with m, which prevented m from reaching finals for years. Fans also mentioned Pistons legend Isiah Thomas, who was reportedly left off 1992 Dream Team despite being best point guard at time as Jordan (and Scottie Pippen) did t want to play with him. fan reactions increased after Pistons mselves uploaded a photo of jersey alongside a shot of Jordan and Pistons forward Blake Griffin making jump shot.

As per Nike's statement, Michael Jordan logo will appear on all 30 NBA Statement Edition uniforms starting from 2020-21 season. As per statement, "inclusion of Jumpman logo on Statement Edition uniforms expands Jordan Brand's connection to all 30 NBA franchises". Charlotte Hornets have been wearing Jordan Brand jerseys since 2017, which has also outfitted NBA All-Star Games for three consecutive years. jerseys will go on sale from October 2020.
