Reggie Miller initially passed on The Last Dance interview since there was 'too much pain'
Reggie Miller's former Indiana Pacers teammate Jalen Rose believes that NBA Hall of Famer did not want to feature in The Last Dance because of 'too much pain'.

Michael Jordan's documentary Last Dance released its final episodes on Sunday (Monday IST) which provided insight into fierce 1998 Eastern Conference Finals between Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers. Reggie Miller's Pacers gave Bulls a run for ir money, but Michael Jordan's side prevailed and reached 1998 NBA Finals before completing ir second three-peat. Reggie Miller was initially hesitant to feature in Last Dance interview and his former teammate believes he didn’t want to do it because re was 'too much pain' from loss to all-conquering Bulls.

Speaking on ESPN’s Jalen & Jacoby show, Jason Hehir revealed that his team tried contacting Reggie Miller but NBA Hall of Famer did t get back to m. Hehir added that he didn't kw if Miller was doing it on purpose but stated that Pacers legend finally agreed to Last Dance interview. director believes Reggie Miller's Pacers had an incredible squad and loss to Bulls in Game 7 must sting still to this day.
Hehir claimed that Pacers would have won NBA Finals in any or year. Reggie Miller's former teammate and host, Jalen Rose revealed that it was 'too much pain' for former Pacers star to relive ir shattered dreams of reaching 1998 NBA Finals in Last Dance interview. Rose, who was also part of Bulls vs Pacers Eastern Conference Finals, revealed that Miller was hesitant and did t want to do Last Dance interview. Reggie Miller, in end, agreed to give Last Dance interview and featured in final episodes of ESPN/Netflix docu-series.
