Steph Curry's promise to Warriors fans came exactly 10 years ago today
Stephen Curry season with Warriors has been cut short for now after suffering a broken hand injury. He is expected to be out of action until February .

Steph Curry has been the heart and soul of Golden State Warriors and for the past couple of years, the team had achieved success thanks to his fabulous on-court performances consistently.

On this day 10 years ago, Curry – who was a rookie with the same team – had sent out one of the most famous tweets. On November 11, 2009, the Warriors lost in Indiana to the Pacers, 108-94. The loss also affected their season with the team dropping their record to 2-5 and that is when the young Curry had sent this tweet

Speaking about the tweet Curry said he doesn't remember where he was but he remembers sending it out though Warriors vice president of communications Raymond Ridder.

After reaching the playoffs in 2013, Curry and Warriors never looked back making it to the playoffs in each of the last seven years, went to the NBA Finals the last five straight years and won three titles at Oracle Arena.

On a personal level, Curry won two NBA MVP awards, including becoming the first-ever unanimous selection in 2015-16. The six-time All-NBA selection recently suffered an injury and will be out of action until February. The Golden State Warriors also had a poor start to the season with 2-8 record. which is NBA's joint-worst record along with the Knicks.
