Brock Lesnar has been on a rampage ever since he has made his comeback to the WWE back in 2012 after an eight-year hiatus. Lesnar has manhandled superstars including the likes of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, etc. He had attacked Rey Mysterio and his son Dominic this past week on Raw while Mysterio was addressing the crowd before his WWE Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins. The 'Beast Incarnate' beat Kofi Kingston on the 20th anniversary of Smackdown in just nine seconds to win the WWE Championship. However, the Beast was tamed by UFC icon Cain Velasquez which forced him to flee away as Velasquez was too hard for Lesnar to handle. However, there is a surprising element regarding Cain Velasquez' WWE appearance.

WWE has not signed Cain Velasquez

Strange, but true. As per reports, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion remains under UFC contract and had recently expressed interest in fighting again. Meanwhile, another report has stated that Cain Velasquez has decided to move on from Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) so that he can focus on his professional wrestling career. Even though Cain had decimated Brock Lesnar on Smackdown, a sports channel has reported that 'Cardio Cain' has not yet signed an official contract with the WWE and notably, he is yet to retire from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as well. The sports channel has also mentioned that Velasquez was working with injuries during his association with Pro Wrestling Revolution where he has been training on a full-time basis. He was suffering from multiple torn ligaments in his left knee. He was injured earlier this year during his UFC match against  Francis Ngannou which he went on to lose.

Cain had beaten Brock Lesnar

In case if you were wondering who has got the guts to tame the ferocious beast, Brock Lesnar, then Cain Velasquez is the real deal. In fact, Cardio Cain had knocked the lights out of Brock Lesnar to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship from him back in 2010. After his defeat, Lesnar was unable to fight for months. So no surprises in guessing why the Beast Incarnate had to flee from the ring after he was floored by his biggest nightmare. Meanwhile, if reports from a website that covers mixed martial arts are to be believed then both the UFC rivals might face each other inside the WWE ring. A one-on-one contest between Lesnar and Velasquez would likely take place at this year's Crown Jewel or Wrestlemania 36 next year.
