Bubba Wallace responds to 'Noose Hoax' theory, says "I'm offended but not shocked"
On Tuesday, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace responded to the theory that the noose incident could all be a hoax. Wallace said he was "not shocked" at the response.

On Sunday, NASCAR issued a statement that ted that a ose was discovered in Bubba Wallace's . 43 gar at Tallega Superspeedway. NASCAR, as well as federal authorities, investigated incident, which could have potentially been a racist attack at Bubba Wallace. Over course of week, however, 'Bubba Wallace ose hoax' story gained a lot of traction on social media after a fake post on Facebook stated NASCAR racer confused a serpentine belt for a ose. During a video interview with View on Tuesday, Bubba Wallace responded to hoax ory stating he was "offended" but "t shocked" after people started questioning incident. "It offends me that people would go to those measures but again, I'm t shocked. People are entitled to ir own opinions to make m feel good and help m sleep at night," Bubba Wallace said. "It's simple-minded people like that, ones that are afraid of change y use everything in ir power to defend what y stand up for, inste of trying to listen and understand what's going on."

Since ose was found in 26-year-old's gar, after Monday's race at Tallega, Bubba Wallace was questioned by FBI, which racer "never thought would happen." Wallace ted that federal authorities are w investigating incident and should find person responsible for act soon.
