Colin Kaepernick workout update: No NFL contract yet for Kaepernick

Three years without an NFL showing h little effect on Colin Kaepernick's workout as he displayed a glimpse of skills in his arsenal at  Charles R Drew High School in Atlanta. Kaepernick has been out of NFL for three whole years after NFL owners allegedly froze him out of league. However, after coming to a settlement with Colin Kaepernick, tensions between NFL and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback took ar turn after Kaepernick's workout last weekend. 

For starters, NFL h organised a workout of sorts for Kaepernick at Atlanta Falcon's Facility. However, Colin Kaepernick refused to show up at venue on account of enforced media blackout at location. Kaepernick, refore, changed venue to high school in Atlanta at last minute, with media also in attendance.

NFL news: Colin Kaepernick's contract a -show

After a reported last-minute change of location, it seems that only eight out of 25 teams' representatives showed up for Kaepernick's workout, according to his nt, Jeff Nalley. Nalley mitted that he h spoken to a number of representatives and he hopes that Colin Kaepernick will get a contract with an NFL team very soon. He also mitted that he was rar pessimistic about Kaepernick's chances at moment, considering that he h t heard from any of NFL teams on a contract for Colin Kapernick so far.

NFL News: Colin Kaepernick's sharp words for NFL owners

Speaking after workout, Colin Kaepernick said that he was rey for a return to NFL and has been rey during period of his three-year absence. former 49ers quarterback h a strong showing during his workout and impressed media and NFL representatives during same. Colin Kaepernick did, however, call out "scared" NFL owners after his workout, asking representatives to inform owners to stop "running from truth".

Wher Colin Kaepernick returns to NFL after a three-year absence remains to be seen. His nt, Jeff Nalley said that since ne of teams asked for this workout, re were takers on a team workout for Colin Kaepernick. He did, however, say that Colin Kaepernick is rey to workout at any of NFL team's facility as is rmal process.
