Conor McGregor raises $100k for first responder charity, has raised $1.2 million so far

Recently, Cor McGregor and his whiskey company Proper Twelve went viral for donating $100,000 to a charity called “Tunnel To Towers” to help ir COVID-19 relief fund on First Responder Day. Because of this, torious One has w raised around $1.2 million for “Tunnel To Towers,” which helps families of first responders who lost ir lives while saving ors.

According to sources, since formation of Proper Twelve, Cor McGregor pledged to donate $5 to charity for every case of whiskey sold. While speaking to Mac Life, former UFC double champion revealed why he chose to help first responders. By calling first responders “ proper heroes of every community,” Cor McGregor hailed heroes for making sacrifices and ensuring everyone is safe. “Please be sure to show some proper respect to local first responders today, and every day,” he added.

Cor McGregor donates $1 million to charity
Last year, Cor McGregor and his company donated around $1 million to “Tunnel To Towers” to help families of First Responders who died in World Trade Centre attack. Frank Siller, who created foundation in hour of his bror Stephen, who also died in terrorist attack, praised McGregor and his company for help. After making generous donation, Cor McGregor once again showed his love towards First Responders, calling m “real heroes”.
“First responders around world are true-life heroes. y are ones running into emergencies,” said Cor McGregor.

McGregor retirement: What’s next for Cor McGregor?
Cor McGregor’s last UFC appearance was at UFC 246 where he defeated Donald Cerrone in under 40 seconds via TKO before anuncing retirement a few days later. However, torious One is w in talks to face Dustin Poirier early next year. Though contracts of fight are yet to be signed, both fighters are ready to trade blows in January. With lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov gone, rematch between McGregor and Poirier may have vacant title on line, according to reports.
