More than a year later, Cor McGregor has finally given some input on why he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. While talking to Jonathan Swden of Bleacher Report, Cor McGregor revealed that he lost to Khabib because he "didn’t train properly" before fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. He said training conditions were also t perfect and that also had some effect on his performance on night.
“I will admit that fight before UFC 246, I did t train properly and was t in perfect condition,” said Cor McGregor.

Cor McGregor teases McGregor vs Khabib rematch
Continuing his answer, Cor McGregor said that he is t going make same mistake twice. He said that he is hungry for victory and things will be different in a McGregor vs Khabib rematch. Cor McGregor added that when he sets his mind on something n re is thing he can’t accomplish.

Cor McGregor n claimed that 2020 is going to be huge for him and he will show world that he is still best in UFC.
“This year is going to be huge for me–and world will see that I am still best fighter in history of UFC,” said Cor McGregor.
