Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh says Irish superstar's retirement is final
Conor McGregor's long-time MMA coach John Kavanagh recently confirmed that 'The Notorious' has retired from the sport and he cannot force him to return.

Cor McGregor's retirement came as a massive blow to numerous UFC fans and promotion, post success of UFC 250 a few weeks ago. When Amanda Nunes went on to create history by defending her fearweight title against Felicia Spencer, Cor McGregor surprised MMA universe by anuncing his retirement via Twitter. Since n, ‘ torious’ has garnered several callouts from numerous fighters but it appears Cor McGregor is uninterested in making a return to UFC.
After anuncing his retirement from Twitter, Cor McGregor told ESPN that he is longer excited about sport and believes that it was right time to call it a day. Although a lot of fans believe that Cor McGregor will return to promotion as he has done in past, McGregor's coach John Kavanagh buried speculation surrounding a McGregor return in a recent interview.

UFC: John Kavanagh says he cant bring Cor McGregor back
While interacting with MMA World, John Kavanagh clarified that Conr McGregor has retired from UFC and he does t see him returning anytime soon. “Is Cor retired? Yes, he is as far as I can tell. That’s what he said, isn’t it? I can’t convince Cor to do s**t. Cor will tell Cor what he’s gonna do. And who kws? Who kws what’s gonna happen in future. But, as for w, he’s retired.” said John Kavanagh.
Cor McGregor me his much-awaited UFC return in January this year against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at heliner of UFC 246. He went on to write his name back in win column by kcking out Donald Cerrone within 40 seconds of fight. In process, McGregor became first UFC fighter to register kckout victories across three different weight classes - 145 lbs, 155 lbs, 170 lbs. After fight, McGregor anunced that he would take two more fights this year and thrilled fans. However, after pandemic, Cor McGregor h to halt his plans, subsequently anuncing his retirement in June.
