former South African skipper addressed Heat fans through a video and revealed that he was very excited to play in Big Bash League. Ab de Villiers said that he had heard a lot of stories about team, league and atmosphere and said that he can't wait to play in league. De Villiers concluded his mess by saying that he aimed for trophy with support of fans.

Speaking to an Australian cricket website cricket.com.au, he said, “It’s one of best tournaments around and I’ve been following it for a while w. From what I’ve heard from or players who have played re, it’s just all positives. standard of cricket is good, and y get big crowds. I must also say Brisbane Heat have always stood out to me. y play kind of cricket that I want to play - it's quite aggressive and y go after attack. And Gabba is a beautiful cricket ground. It’s got a great wicket and games are always of high quality.”

Faf on de Villiers' comeback
While speaking to a sports publication, Faf du Plessis said that discussions of AB de Villiers' comeback have been taking place for quite some months but a decision still needs to be taken on it. Faf also highlighted that ICC World T20 was t too far away and y do t have too many T20I games heading into next year's global event. At same time, Proteas skipper also went on to say that red-ball cricket is most important thing right w but T20 cricket is a different beast.
