Afghanistan aims for international cricket at home with new stadium in Kabul
Afghanistan Board has confirmed that Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has allocated 120,000 square metres of land for construction of the stadium.

Despite worldwide recognition, Afghan cricketers have never played international cricket in front of ir home fans. team played ir matches first in Sharjah (2010-16) following which y h ir opted home ground in India in Greater ida (2017) and Dehrun (2018-19). After Dehrun, Afghanistan cricket team will w play ir home matches at Ekana Cricket Stium in Luckw.

Afghanistan to have new cricket stium in Kabul
While India is currently opted home for Afghanistan cricket team, national side will soon get a chance to play ir matches in front of ir home fans with Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) w securing land for a new state-of--art stium in Kabul.
ACB in its tweet has confirmed that Afghanistan President Mohamm Ashraf Ghani has allocated 120,000 square metres of land in Alo Khail area for construction of stium. According to a statement released by board, stium will be as per international standards and will include a five-star guest house, a standard swimming pool, indoor and outdoor acemies, capies for crowd, health clinic, mosque, car parking, ministrative block and or such facilities. stium will have a capacity to host 35,000 spectators, including designated places for families.

ACB Chairman Farhan Yusefzai has thanked president over his decision. He said that Afghanistan President has always supported development of cricket and encourd players. He also said that after initial formalities, construction of stium will also commence and that y will ensure it is done with best quality.

Rashid Khan, Mohamm Nabi make a slow start in BBL 2020
After taking part in Dream11 IPL 2020 in UAE recently, Rashid Khan and Mohamm Nabi are currently playing in Big Bash League 2020 in Australia. So far, Khan has picked up three wickets from three matches while playing for elaide Strikers. Nabi who is a handy allrounder has played just one match for Melbourne Reneges scoring just 14 runs. He is yet to pick up wickets in tournament.
