Virat Kohli recently went to the mountains of Rishikesh after he offered prayers and food to the saints. Virat shared adorable photos in which he is carrying his daughter on his shoulders among the mountains. The photos tell us the loving bond between the father and the daughter. Virat Kohli is having an amazing trekking experience with his family ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Before this, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were seen in Rishikesh offering prayers at the Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram. Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma also organised a religious feast for the saints at the Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram.

Virat Kohli is found to be very spiritual these days as his Rishikesh trip has come after his recent visit at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram at Vrindavan. 

Virat Kohli's spirituality seems to suit him a lot as soon as he returned from his visit at the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Vrindavan, Virat scored a century against Sri Lanka in the first One Day International in Guwahati. Virat Kohli's bat had been silent for a long time in the One Day Internationals but he broke his silence by scoring a century against Sri Lanka. Virat managed to score two centuries against Sri Lanka in that series. 

Virat Kohli's form ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Series is very important for Team India as Virat has an old love affair with Australia with the bat. Virat Kohli has got his lost momentum back with the bat in the ODI's and T20's but is yet to score a century in tests. 

Virat Kohli last scored a test century against Bangladesh in 2019. Virat Kohli's performance with the bat is very important for Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as Team India's eye will be on the upcoming World Test Championship final. 

Team India needs to beat Australia by a margin of 3-0 or more to cement its place in the World Test Championship final. The final is scheduled to take place in June 2023 at The Oval. 

The first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin from 9th February in Nagpur.
