Ajinkya Rahane provides BIG Rohit Sharma update, has indirect message for Tim Paine

re has been a lot of speculation about Rohit Sharma's batting position for all-important third Test between Australia in India. However, on Wednesday, during pre-match press conference, Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane put an end to all conjectures and me it clear that Rohit will be opening batting for India during customary New Year's Test starting January 7 in Sydney.

Rohit Sharma will open batting in 3rd Test, confirms Ajinkya Rahane
While speaking to media on eve of India vs Australia 3rd Test, Rahane said that y are excited to have Rohit back with team because of experience he possesses at highest level. Indian captain also revealed that Rohit started training as soon as his isolation period ended. Speaking about his batting position, Rahane stated that in last couple of series, Rohit opened innings for India and once again he will retain position.

Rahane also opened up on reports of Indian team's vexation at stricter quarantine rules and claims of team t travelling to Brisbane for final Test. Mumbai-based cricketer said that being in quarantine has its own challenges but as a team, y are t anyed because y realise that re are challenges when life outside is rmal and y have to deal with it.
Sending out an indirect mess to Australian skipper Tim Paine, Rahane reiterated that y are focusing on game for w because that's priority. Speaking about travelling to Gabba, Rahane opined that players are t anyed by anything outside as ir focus is to play game. He ded that y will follow whatever BCCI and team manment decides.
