Australian wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey said why the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup might turn into a disappointment during a recent interview.

Australian wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carey has said that it would be ridiculous to play T20 World Cup 2020 with fans to watch event. All global sporting events have eir been postponed or cancelled due to global pandemic. seventh edition of T20 World Cup as of w is scheduled to be held between October 18 to vember 15 this year.

"That would probably be ideal situation if you can put a date on it, but it's probably hard right w to say if we postpone World Cup n three months later it would be fine to open gates. I trust guys well above my head to make right decisions," he was quoted as saying by a cricket news website.
He furr said: "Out in middle it's that atmosphere you love and thrive on. Saying that, landscape of world has changed rapidly over last three months and if it has to be that way I'm sure we'll find a way to make it go ahead."
"You want your fans re. y play a very big part in our sport and without fans we wouldn't have a job. But I love playing cricket and if re's one re I'll definitely go out and play."

BCCI had several plans in mind to conduct IPL 2020. y first conceived idea of conducting a month-long IPL with final scheduled in first week of June. n y also were planning to play games behind closed doors but a rapid rise in number of Çoronavirus cases in country saw all plans pushed to backburner.
only available window for an IPL in current year would be between September and vember, provided Cricket Australia and ICC agree to reschedule T20 World Cup.
