Alzarri Joseph Banned for Two Matches After On-Field Dispute with Shai Hope During WI vs ENG 3rd ODI 

Following a furious confrontation with skipper Shai Hope during third ODI against England on vember 6, West Indies bowler Alzarri Joseph has been banned two-matches by West Indies Cricket Board (CWI). altercation happened after Joseph's claiming of Jordan Cox's wicket when fast bowler clearly stated his anyance with field placements. His wrath became stronger, and before Joseph left pitch he confronted Hope.

He coach Dared Sammy criticised Joseph's antics, which threw off team's momentum, saying he would have a stern conversation with bowler about his behaviour. Though West Indies prevailed in game, debate regarding Joseph's behaviour eclipsed team's run.

Cricket West Indies formally confirmed two-match punishment on vember 8. choice was taken after situation was reviewed with vice from top coaching staff. Since n, Joseph has atoned to Hope, his colleagues, and supporters by owning a mistake in judgement during on-field interaction. statement re: 

“Cricket West Indies (CWI) has imposed a two-match suspension on fast bowler Alzarri Joseph following an on-field incident during 3rd CG United ODI at Kensington Oval, Barbos. As part of CWI’s ongoing commitment to upholding highest levels of professionalism and integrity in game, incident, which involved conduct falling short of CWI’s standards of professionalism, was reviewed in consultation with Senior Men's coaching staff,”

punishment means Joseph will miss start of next T20I series between West Indies and England, scheduled to begin on vember 9.
