Amid ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Controversy, IND Bars Blind Team From Playing T20 WC in PAK

Amid uncertainty over India's participation in Champions Trophy , blind team will also not visit Pakistan for T20 World Cup . Despite Sports Ministry issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for team’s travel, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reportedly withheld permission, citing security concerns. event is scheduled to take place from November 23 to December 3. It would be interesting to see what eventually happens as India is one of frontrunners to win it.

INDIA BLIND TEAM FAVOURITES

India has won all three editions held so far. It would be a big setback for sport if India do not participate. This comes to light amid uncertainty over ICC Champions Trophy 2025 where India has confirmed y will not send ir team to Pakistan. 

What About CT 2025? 

For unversed, Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed to ICC that y would not travel to Pakistan for mega event. Most realise that India's participation is necessary for success of tournament. Pakistan has been informed of financial impact if India withdraw from event. It would be interesting to see what happens. 

CT 25 SCHEDULE

As per reports, ICC is set to announce schedule this week. 

Meanwhile, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi dressed press on Monday and me it clear that Pakistan is not going to agree to ‘hybrid’ model.

"If India has any concerns about sending ir team to Pakistan y must talk to us and we will remove m. I don't think re is any reason for India not to come to Pakistan for Champions Trophy," PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi told reporters on Monday.
