‘An amazing way to finish the Australian summer’: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma meet Roger Federer, watch other legends in action
After taming the Kangaroos in a tour where tied the T20I series and won the Test and ODI series, Indian captain Virat Kohli ‘finished the Australian summer’ with actor-wife Anushka Sharma at the Australian Open. From posing with Roger Federer to posting numerous pictures of their time at the Rod Laver Arena, the couple had ‘beautiful sunny day’.

From posing with Roger Federer to watching Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams in action, the couple had a ‘beautiful sunny day.’

The cricketer shared a picture where the legend himself, Roger Federer is flanked by the couple. While they didn’t see the 20-time Grand Slam winner in action, they did see two other legends showcasing their skills at the Rod Laver Arena. Virat and Anushka watched two other legends, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams storm into the round of 16.
Anushka posted videos on Instagram stories of Serena, calling her the ‘greatest female tennis player’ and ‘legendary’. She even shared moments from Novak’s match with his own GIF in the bottom. The ‘Zero’ star even termed Novak’s opponent Denis Shapovalov as ‘Denis the Menace.’

Virat termed the experience, ‘What a day at the Australian Open’ and it seems the couple would be heading to India soon as the captain called it ‘An Amazing way to finish the Australian summer’ and concluded with it ‘Forever grateful’ with the almost two-month tour Down Under.

Like their numerous selfies and pictures, both the stars posted adorable snaps galore and Anushka termed the visit to the Rod Laver Arena as a ‘Beautiful sunny day at tennis with this beautiful sunny boy.’

Virat's Team India became the first team in history to win a series each in all formats against Australia in Australia. After whitewashing the Kangaroos in the T20I series in 2016, they achieved the feat with series victories by the margin 2-1 in both Tests and ODIs for the first time at this tour.
