Anushka in a strongly-worded post on social media lashed out at all controversies she had become a part of, be it being linked with her husband and Indian captain Virat Kohli’s performance, or being accused of interfering with selection policy and attending closed-door meetings, 'overstaying' authorised time with her husband on foreign tour, BCCI’s ‘security’ for her with regards to her tickets, her visit to High Commisioner in London. She wrote that she had kept quiet about her name used for se stories all this while, but silence could t be taken for truth. She asked media persons, netizens and celebrities to keep her out of this.

On professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in movie Zero. She had featured as lead actor opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif too had played a crucial role in it. actor, however, is yet to anunce her next, though she was linked to star in a reported remake of Satta Pe Satta, that is reportedly set to feature Hrithik Roshan and be directed by Farah Khan.
