Asia Cup 2023: Complete list of award winners and prize money in the IND vs SL final clash

The Indian cricket team registered a one-sided win over Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 by 10 wickets, which was their cricket in any ODI match. The Rohit Sharma-led side won a cheque prize of USD 150000 after winning the Asia Cup 2023 final, which was their eighth title overall.

After the Indian cricket team defeated Sri Lanka in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023, a look at the complete list of award winners and prize money: 

• Catch of the Match: Ravindra Jadeja took the excellent catch of Sri Lanka batter Pathum Nissanka and also helped Mohammed Siraj pick up his first wicket of the match. Jadeja received a prize money of 3000 dollars. 
• Player of the Match: Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj destroyed the Sri Lankan batting lineup and ended the match with figures of 6/21 in 7 overs. Siraj was adjudged the Player of the Match and received a prize money of USD 5000. 
• Player of the Series: Indian team left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked a total of nine wickets in the Asia Cup 2023 which includes a fifer against Pakistan. He also picked up a 4-wicket haul against Sri Lanka in the next match and contributed to the team's win. Kuldeep Yadav was handed over the Player of the Series award and prize money of USD 15000. 
• Runners Up: The Sri Lanka cricket team displayed a tremendous brand of cricket in the Asia Cup 2023 and won a total of six matches in the multination Asian tournament and finished on the winning side on four occasions. Sri Lanka won a cash prize of USD 50,000, which was later donated to the ground staff of the R Premadasa Stadium.
• Winners: The Indian cricket team was undefeatable in the whole tournament and almost dominated in every match of the Asia Cup. Team India finished as the winners of the tournament and won a prize money of USD 150000.

The ground of the R Premadasa Stadium was offered prize money of USD 50,000 by the Asian Cricket Council for the immense hard work they did in the Asia Cup 2023.
