Shah could not have asked for a worse start to his Australia tour. The 16-year old lost his mother even before he could make his international debut. The youngster bowled his heart out as he troubled Australian batsmen with his pace and length, many of whom are likely for the Australian national team in the upcoming series. Shah has the potential to be the next big name from Pakistan. He has the potential to wreak havoc in bowler-friendly conditions. Shah has played just six first-class games so far but it was enough for him to showcase his immense potential. In those games, he has already picked up 26 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls.

The teenager idolizes Shane Bond and Shoaib Akhtar.  If he makes his debut in Australia, he will be the ninth youngest player in Test history and the youngest to feature in a Test on Australian soil.
