Australia opener David Warner confident despite horror Ashes 2019

Australia's David Warner had a horrible time with the bat throughout Ashes series in England with a dreadful average of just 9.5 as Stuart Broad dominated him.

Australia opening batsman David Warner's return to Test cricket hasn't gone according to plan. left-hander had a poor outing throughout Ashes 2019 series against England with pacer Stuart Broad right on top of him in entire series. Despite that, Warner told Cricket Australia's official website that he is full of confidence ahead of Test series against Pakistan at home.

Warner had a horrible time with bat throughout Ashes series in England with a dreadful aver of just 9.5. Pacer Stuart Broad dominated Australian left-hander and wreaked havoc with his around--wicket line and removed Warner for 7th time across his 10 innings to set a new Test record.

David Warner on his form 

Speaking on  sidelines of an event, southpaw said that he's t out of form, just out of runs. Warner also said that he scored a hundred or day at Gabba, so for him, it's about putting back-to-back performances on board and that his confidence is always high. David Warner made a superb return to ODI side, but his recent performances in Tests has raised questions on his credibility. opener has scored more than 20 just twice in his past 15 first-class innings.

David Warner's first home game for Australia in 18 months

Warner's next assignment will be home T20I series against Sri Lanka starting on Sunday. This will be his first appearance in a home match since ball-tampering scandal in South Africa broke out in March 2018 but devastating batsman has said that his focus partly lies in red-ball cricket.

Australian opener will miss New South Wales’ next Sheffield Shield match against South Australia as a result of a clashing schedule. However, he will rush back for last-round game before vember 21 Test match at Gabba, Brisbane against Pakistan.
