Australia legend Matthew Hayden aces the 'Naatu Naatu' step as RRR song wins Oscar | WATCH

RRR’s Naatu Naatu won Oscar for 'Best Original Song' at 95th Acemy Awards on March 13, Sunday. film was one of biggest hits of Indian cinema in 2022 and Naatu Naatu played a crucial part in its success. Indian Telugu-langu song was composed by MM Keeravani with lyrics by Chandrabose. It was released in vember 2021 in multiple langus including Hindi, Tamil, and Kanna. It also won Best Original Song award at 80th Golden Globe Awards earlier this year.
After Naatu Naatu mand to grab Oscar on Sunday, entire country celebrated historic feat. Congratulatory posts poured in from all across India including from cricketers, politicians, and film stars. Australia legend Matw Hayden also celebrated RRR's Oscar win by doing 'Naatu Naatu' dance at Narendra Modi Stium in Ahmedab, where ongoing 4th Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played. Hayden is part of star-studded commentary panel for Star Sports.

While accepting Oscar, composer Keeravaani said, “Thank you Acemy, I grew up listening to carpenters and w here I am with Oscar.” music composer n broke into a song, “re was only one wish in my mind, so was Rajamouli’s and my family’s. RRR has to win, pride of every Indian and must put me on top of world. Thank you Kartikeya and Variance Films for making this possible.”

RRR team also expressed ir happiness through a tweet on ir official twitter handle and wrote, “We’re blessed that #RRRMovie is first feature film to bring INDIA's first ever #Oscar in Best Song Category with #NaatuNaatu! words can describe this surreal moment.
