Bancroft, Burns named in Australia's squad
Bancroft's addition to Test squad was unprecedented as he was added as a late replacement after Victoria batsman Nic Maddinson recused himself from Australia A's game citing issues related to mental health. Despite a string of poor scores in Sheffield Shield, Bancroft has been named in Test squad, raising many eyebrows. Ashes revelation Marnus Labuschagne will be Australia's number three batsman followed by Steve Smith. Travis Head will regain his place in side after Will Pucovski decided to take a break due to issues related to mental health. A fiery pace attack has been included by selectors featuring likes of James Pattinson, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and uncapped Michael Nasser. Openers Marcus Harris & Usman Khwaja, and pacer Peter Siddle were left out by selectors.
