Cricket Australia's head of integrity and security Sean Carroll said "inappropriate langu" was t acceptable.
"Some of that langu could be interpreted as ridiculing n-native English langu speakers," he said in a statement late Thursday.
"I have spoken to players and expressed in uncertain terms that such langu has place in society and falls well short of standards we expect as Australian cricketers," he added.
" players have apologised for langu and have taken down posts." Sanctions were being considered, including education and cultural sensitivity training.
"Most of players do t have ir parents present with m in South Africa and some of m are mirs," he said.
"Accordingly, we believe it is appropriate to consider sanctions upon ir return home." U-19 World Cup began on January 17 and runs until February 9. Australia has so far won two of ir three games.
