Azharuddin to represent Hyderabad at BCCI's AGM in Mumbai on Oct 23
The former Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin will be representing Hyderabad at the Cricket Board's (BCCI) Annual General Meeting in Mumbai on October 23.

former Indian captain, Mohamm Azharuddin will be representing Hyderab at Annual General Meeting of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai on October 23. According to reports, new apex body has decided that Azharuddin will be it's representative-cum-voter in case BCCI elections take place. Azharuddin was recently appointed as President of Hyderab Cricket Association (HCA). According to reports, re were talks of former state unit president Shivlal Yav to represent Hyderab. Furr, Azharuddin and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly will be two former national captains representing ir respective state units.

former Indian captain, Mohamm Azharuddin was elected as President of Hyderab Cricket Association (HCA) on September 27. According to reports, out of 227 members, 223 h cast ir votes. former India captain secured 147 votes while Prakash Chand Jain polled only 73. It was reported that even though re were three candidates for president's post, main competition was between Azharuddin and Jain. Azharuddin, who appeared in 99 Tests and 334 ODIs, h filed his mination for president's post in HCA. As former Indian Captain's win was anunced, his fans celebrated at Rajiv Gandhi International Stium in Uppal. Taking it to Twitter, Azharuddin also posted about his win.

Mohamm Azharuddin has played 99 Tests and scored a hundred in his first and last Test matches. He has also held record for fastest hundred, maximum runs and most catches in ODIs. Azharuddin started off his international career with a bang when he scored a century on his Test debut against England in 1984, three years after he h me his first-class debut in Hyderab.
