PAK VS ENG: Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam was distraught after being dropped for the second and the third Test versus England. And Babar's reactions were also caught on camera where the coach Jason Gillespie and captain Shan Masood were seen comforting him. The decision to drop Babar was taken after his poor show with the bat in recent times. The call to axe Babar was taken by the new selection committee on Sunday. PCB released a statement explaining that the selectors considered "the current form and fitness of key players" before omitting the three highest-profile players. The clip that is going viral was released by 'Events & Happenings Sports' on YouTube. The clip does not have any audio, but by the gestures that one gets to see - it is evident that Babar is unhappy.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is set to play England in two remaining Tests. They would certainly look to bounce back and give England a run for their money. It will not be easy against an England side that has tasted success already.

Former Pakistan cricketer, Aaqib Javed, who is one of the selectors, hinted that Babar was omitted because of lack of form.

"We are confident that this break from international cricket will help these players regain their fitness, confidence and composure, ensuring they return in top shape for future challenges," he said. "They remain some of our finest talents with much more to contribute to Pakistan cricket. We are fully committed to supporting them during this period so they can come back even stronger."

Babar is one of the finest batters of the generation, but unfortunately, his form has let him down over the past season. He would be desperate to prove everyone wrong.
