Babar Azam flouts traffic rules in his Audi, slapped with heavy penalty by local police

Pakistan's men's cricket team captain, Babar Azam, has once again found himself in the limelight, but this time it's due to a wrong reason. Pakistan's Punjab Motorway Police recently issued a fine to Babar Azam for surpassing the speed limit on the highway. This incident is the latest in a series of encounters between the cricket star and law enforcement. Earlier this year, Babar Azam was caught driving without a proper number plate; however, he was not fined for this violation.

Babar Azam slapped with heavy fine for overspeeding

Babar Azam's inclination for speeding has once again landed him in trouble. While driving on the highway, the Punjab Motorway Police had to step in as he exceeded the speed limit. While the exact amount of the fine remains undisclosed, this incident underscores the importance of adhering to traffic regulations for everyone, including cricketing celebrities. A picture of Babar Azam paying the fine to the police is going viral on social media. 

In the meantime, the Indian government has granted visas to the Pakistani contingent for their visit to the country for the upcoming ICC World Cup, which is scheduled to commence on October 5. The team is set to depart for Dubai in the early hours of September 27, and they are expected to arrive in Hyderabad later in the evening. As part of their preparations, Pakistan will engage in a warm-up match against New Zealand at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on September 29.

It is important to note that the warm-up match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be held behind closed doors. The BCCI issued a statement on Monday confirming that spectators will not be allowed to watch the match live at the stadium because of religious activities that will take place in Hyderabad on the same day. The local law enforcement agencies will be busy handling the crowd at these religious activities and will not be able to provide security at the stadium.
