On their second-ever bilateral tour to India, the Bangladeshi team will be visiting the cricket-crazy nation next month for a three-match T20I series and two-match Test series. The Test series between two Asian giants will be the second edition of Ganguly–Durjoy Trophy, which started when the Bangladesh team previously visited India in 2017. In the inaugural 2017 series, Team India won the one-off Test match by 208 runs. Virat Kohli scored a quick-fire 204 in the first innings to propel India’s total to 687-6d. The trophy is named after two former captains of both teams, Sourav Ganguly and Naimur Rahman Durjoy.
