Bangladesh cricket strike: BCB chief slams players, but open to talks
On the backdrop of a strike by the Bangladesh cricket team, BCB president accused the players of conspiring against & tarnishing the image of the country.

Banglesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan recently said that board is rey to talk with cricketers who have called for a strike. Hassan, however, also reportedly accused those players of tarnishing im of country. In a 25-minute mologue with media, Nazmul Hassan angrily responded to almost every question with "but why did y t tell us before?".

BCB chief slams Banglesh players
BCB chief said that board have agreed to bigger demands before. With ongoing National Cricket League, BCB is currently focused on country’s domestic circuit while earlier, governing council was focused on World Cup in England. Hassan also dismissed off strike as t a “real issue” and if players ever h certain demands, board was always rey to talk.

Meanwhile, BCB assembled an emergency meeting this Tuesday to dress players impending requirements. Banglesh cricket team decided to t participate in any cricketing activity until ir demands were fully met by governing body. ir strike will directly impact ongoing National Cricket League, country’s oldest and premier first-class tournament. It will also affect Banglesh’s upcoming tour to India which will comprise of three T20Is and two Test matches.

Initially, Bangleshi cricket team was slated to tour India which would begin with a T20I affair on vember 3. tour was supposed to be country’s second-ever bilateral trip to India where two Asian giants were scheduled to participate in second edition of Ganguly–Durjoy Trophy. eponymous Test trophy started when Banglesh team previously visited India in 2017. In inaugural 2017 edition, Team India won one-off Test match by 208 runs. ‘Man of Match’ Virat Kohli scored a flamboyant 204 in first innings to propel India’s total to 687-6d.
