Bangladesh players to boycott India tour until BCB meets their demands

Bangladesh cricketers have announced that they will not be taking part in any cricketing activity for the foreseeable future until all their 11 demands are met.

In a major development ahe of upcoming India vs Banglesh T20I series, Banglesh's cricketers anunced on Monday that y will t be taking part in any cricketing activity for foreseeable future until ir demands regarding development of sport are met.

Banglesh cricket: reason that triggered boycott

According to a report in a leing media portal, trigger seems to have happened due to Banglesh Cricket Board (BCB)'s decision on BPL, which has reduced aver professional cricketer's earning to an all-time low starting this season. players' woes were furred after BCB did t consider to raise match fees in first-class competition that began earlier this month in dition to salary cap applied to Dhaka Premier League. It used to be an open market for club-to-club transfer for players for last several years.

Banglesh cricket: Players who came ahe with demands 

According to report,  demands were re by Naeem Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Enamul Haque Jnr, Anamul Haque and Farh Reza with 50+ cricketers standing behind m as tour to India next month has come under serious question.

Banglesh cricket: Players' demands

players who have gone on a boycott released a list of 11 demands on Monday, including a reversal of Banglesh Cricket Board's decision last month to abandon Banglesh Premier League's franchise-based model. Those present at press conference, at National Cricket Acemy in Dhaka, included Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah. Shakib ded that once all demands are fulfilled, players will be back on duty at all levels of game in country.

BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury has vowed to resolve problem soon. He says that he has just been informed about development and denies presence of a revolt as players are yet to contact board formally. Furr developments remain to be seen as Banglesh are set to take India on first match of ir tour in Delhi on Sunday, vember 3 in a T20I.
