Melbourne Stars defeated Perth Scorchers by 10 runs to continue ir winning ways in ongoing Big Bash League (BBL). Stars skipper Glenn Maxwell was adjudged ‘Player of Match’ for his all-round heroics at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Batting first, right-hander contributed 25 runs with bat and n scalped Kurtis Patterson to derail Perth Scorchers' run-chase.

While defending score, Glenn Maxwell registered bowling figures of 3-0-20-1. Melbourne Stars' win over Perth Scorchers was ir 10th victory of tournament. Glenn Maxwell-led side are currently at top of points table by collecting 20 points from ir 11 matches so far. Melbourne Stars will w face Sydney Sixers at Sydney Cricket Ground on Monday, January 20.
