BCCI cancels release of funds to DDCA, Delhi cricket jobs in jeopardy: Report
The BCCI have suspended the release of funds to the DDCA and urging them to set their house in order. The cancellation of funds have put jobs in jeopardy.

Speaking to Times of India, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal said that re was question of releasing fund sto DDCA w. Dhumal said that DDCA have too many complaints of discrepancies against m and will have to set ir house in order to get funds from board. BCCI treasurer furr ded that richest cricket board in globe will release funds to or state organisations. He ded that BCCI h started process of clearing dues of match officials and umpires for ir services last season.
Dhumal said that delay happened due to BCCI office being closed since March. treasurer ded that all domestic players dues have been cleared.

Delhi Cricket could struggle to pay salaries to employees after suspension of BCCI funds
Times of India reported on Thursday that DDCA could struggle to pay salaries to Delhi cricket employees amidst cancellation of funds from BCCI. Currently, DDCA is without a President too after veteran journalist Rajat Sharma resigned in vember 2019. Rajat Sharma cited interference from some members before stepping down from post. Furrmore, Delhi Cricket's vice-president Rakesh Bansal and secretary Vid Tihara were suspended from office after an official order from a Delhi court.

On an aver, BCCI gives ₹35-60 crore of annual funding to each of its member state association and DDCA received at least ₹40.75 crore between July 2018 and vember 2019. As per reports, it is alleged that DDCA has t paid an annual subsidy to its affiliated clubs for past 7 years. ditionally, y are yet to pay prize money of League, Super League, and Hot Wear Tournament, while payments to players, umpires and employees are also pending.
