BCCI eyes cost cutting, selectors to fly in economy class, chiefs in business: Report
The BCCIhas decided to take the cost-cutting route as it will now offer business class seats on flights only for the chief selectors, according to a report.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to take cost-cutting route as it will w offer business class seats on flights only for chief selectors, according to a report. According to apex body's latest anuncement, chief selectors of senior and junior teams would be given seats in business class while or selectors would be asked to travel in ecomy class. However, restriction only extends for flights that are under 7 hours of duration and refore during an overseas trip all selectors would be given seats in business class.
This means newly appointed chairman of selectors for senior men's cricket team Sunil Joshi and his counterpart in junior team Ashish Kapoor would be flying in business class while rest would be allotted seats in ecomy class.

BCCI puts domestic matches on hold till furr tice
Meanwhile, BCCI on Saturday put on hold all its remaining domestic tournaments, including Irani Cup match between Rest of India and Ranji Trophy champions Saurashtra, because of COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement signed by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, Board said prominent tournaments that stand postponed are Irani Cup, Vizzy Trophy, Senior Women's One-Day Kckout and Senior Women's One-Day Challenger, among ors. junior women's tournaments put on hold until furr tice include Under-19 One-Day kckout, Under-19 T20 League, Super League and kckout, Under-19 T20 Challenger Trophy, Under-23 kckout and Under-23 One-Day Challenger.

BCCI's meeting with IPL franchise owners
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah has issued a statement wherein it has been mentioned that BCCI met Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises owners at Board hequarters in Mumbai on Saturday to discuss vel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its impact on upcoming season.
