ABOUT THE VENUE
The last time the stadium hosted an international Test match was back in 2021 when New Zealand came to India. That game ended in a draw but it had some thrilling moments. It is traditionally a typical Indian strip that helps a batter and spinners come into play from the fourth day onwards. The second Test between India and Bangladesh starts from September 27. It is expected to be a close contest as Bangladesh is a team that is high-on-confidence after their win over Pakistan recently.
