Rishabh Pant enjoys time in Dubai following IPL 2024 auction

From struggling to stand at a regular stance again to sitting at the DC's table, calling the shots for the franchise at the recently concluded IPL2024 mini-auction, Pant has recovered significantly. Since the auction took place in Dubai, the 26-year-old spared some time partying with some of his friends. Pant posted a few photos from the event on his social media handles.

β€œBest way to deal with your toughest time is to be positive and keep smiling coz being sad will not change the situation then why not deal with it with a smile & humility and try to make it better and keep fighting for good days πŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ‘Œ.” He wrote in the caption of above post.

Due to injuries, Rishabh Pant has missed out on several significant tournaments, including the World Test Championship 2023 final and the 2023 ODI World Cup.

All set for a much-awaited return

Rishabh Pant revealed ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction that while he has yet to reach full fitness, he will be fully recovered from his injury in a few months.

"Much better, given what I was doing a few months ago. I'm still on recovery to 100 per cent but hopefully, in a few months' time, I will be able to do it."

In the absence of Rishabh Pant, Delhi Capitals performed poorly in IPL 2023 season. Under David Warner's captaincy, the team failed to make the playoffs, ending in sixth place on the points table.

At the IPL 2024 mini-auction, DC signed a total of nine players. Kumar Kushagra, an uncapped Indian batter, was their most expensive acquisition, costing them 7.20 crore.
