‘If You Gave Me 15 Minutes, It’s Not Enough’: Stokes Honours Anderson After the Latter’s Final Match
Ben Stokes, the captain of the England Test team, hailed the retiring James Anderson and said that he will fall short of time but his compliments will now.

It was an emotional couple of days in England as the Lord's Cricket Ground hosted the farewell Test match of veteran English pacer James Anderson. England won the first Test match against West Indies in dominant fashion as Anderson bid farewell to the only format he was competing in to cap off his career in the international scene. Not just at Lord's but the entire cricket fandom bowed down to Jimmy as he made his way back into the dressing room after winning the match for one last time. Ben Stokes, who was seeing out of words to praise the retiring pacer, exclaimed

Ben Stokes says he'll fall in short of time while complimenting James Anderson
James Anderson ended his International Test career with a win and pretty solid figures, and all the fans at Lord's paid their tributes to the departing pacer. Stokes showered the 41-year-old with accolades during the post-match press conference, but it appeared that he was running out of time to recognize Anderson's achievements on the international scene.
"Sometimes you can be a bit lost for words, and if you gave me 15 minutes, I still wouldn't be able to compliment him enough. He is 41 years old and still always looking to improve himself as a bowler.

"If you look at how his career has gone, he's just gotten better and better, and that's a testament to his desire to always want to get better. He's always wanted to contribute to the team and every single time he's walked out onto the field, he's done that. He's a great person to look up to," Stokes said as quoted from Sky Sports.

The England fans cheered for Anderson and sang songs as he made his Final Test appearance for England. He finished his last Test match for England with two innings stats of 1/26 and 3/32. James claimed some crucial wickets, but in the first Test match against the West Indies, Gudakesh Motie struck a ball towards James' hands that he was unable to control and dropped, ruining his chance to end his career with a wicket. Jimmy nevertheless had a successful finish to his international career.
